THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO CURRENT WEATHER CONDITIONS! Ash Wednesday, February 17, 2021, Munfordville Presbyterian Church will be administering Palm ashes to begin the Lenten Season. The church doors will open at 9:00 AM (CST) following the ringing of the bell. You may then proceed inside the church where the pastor will give a brief reading and then begin the ashes and blessings for any who would come forward. The pastor will be at the church for two hours and will administer ashes during that window 9 AM to 11 AM. Please wear a mask for your protection and the protection of our pastor. Also, we are asking that all participants (other than couples who live together) to maintain at least six feet distance (our pastor being the exception, obviously). There will be marked masking-tape markers to help keep this distance in place. Please enter through the front and exit through the back door. Doors will be open to limit touching, so dress warmly depending on the weather as there may be a draft with open doors.
